Re: supercharger
I drove it sunday after we got the seat and door bolted down. ............ wow most deffinantly much funner on the street down, easily gets 2 gear barks about 5 feet long.
before i had a 3600 stall and a 4:11 gear with a cam that produced power from 3000 up, so it was a bit of a dog off a dead stop without stall it up, after the blower and a cam swap it brought my low end power back, which was what street fun was all about. I still have that stall and gearing. I think ill leave the gears maybe downgrade to 3:73s and go with a 2800 to 3000 stall, make it a little more able to go down the 1/4 without reving the crap out of it It was hard for me to order 2500 for one part with the economy the way it is and so many more things i could spend my money on, but now after the drive it was worth every penny..... highly recommend a supercharger to any and everyone. only down fall is im stripping it down for paint this friday so it will be prolly 2 to 3 months before i fully get to enjoy it has a daily driver. |

Re: supercharger
Alright guys bring back a dead post, But i didnt really want to take up the space to post a new post. Finally been gettin it out and driving it (last 7 days straight, about 70 miles..... o ya
![]() Anyway i had the timing at 8 ran decent but when i got on it, it stumbled a little. turned it up to 10 not as bad but does it a little. turned it up to 12 tonight gonna try that tomorrow. What do you guys recommend being the max timing. I dont want to tear it up inside. but man i couldnt hear spark knock underneath this blower if i had to. |

I'm thinkin' a BTR box (boost referenced timing retard) is your best next purchase. Blower motors DO NOT forgive even a momentary slip into detonation. What's the blower drive ratio ? Under drive is your friend on a street motor... RED
