chevy one, the tire size is 255/35/zr20 in the front and 275/35/zr20 in the rear, stock ride height, I did replace the ball joints and a-arm cartrigdes in the front and the control arm and track arm bushings in the rear. Used the Chassis line from Napa, it's more expensive, but it's the good stuff. You know how it is you replace one thing and find something else to replace.

Cronkj1967 thanks for the info. I am in the middle of my 67 LWB. Front clip, engine and suspension removed. just two frame rails sticking out. Starting on the blast; sounding familiar! hopeful the temp will start to cool here shortly so I feel more like suiting up for the blast. Is your paint a stock color or did you go to your own liking? I really like the detail job you did to your engine bay. I am trying to decide if to paint the fire wall black or the body color.

Chevy one - look into the Napa chassis line for your front end (balljoints & a-arm cartridges), they cost about three times as much as LMC, but you won't be dissappointed. I would go with whatever sets the engine off from the rest of the truck (contrast). When I bought the truck it was already painted the copper color, so when I had it repainted I kept it the same to match the dash and doorjams. The metal was in great shape (no rust), but the prior body work sucked. The dash and door jams were ok, but I did split the dash up with black and painted the rockers inside the door jams black. Looks pretty neat, I will post pics on Sunday.

OBX racing headers, stainless steel, the flanges are 1/2" thick, they come with ss collectors, they also have 1/2" thick flanges, I used copper gaskets for overkill. Got them on E-bay for around $300. Look for OBX headers. It is a tight fit, the driver side motor mount rubber has to be cut back, the truck was a str. 6, so I had to mod. the z-bar. The rod going from the z-bar to the clutch fork is a tight fit to the oil filter (1/4"), it also has to be long, used one off a pre-66 truck. The starter had to be replaced with a performance summit racing for clearance. I also heat wraped the starter and wires. You also have to use shorty spark plugs, and cyl. #1 wire has to face down so it doesn't burn. One bolt did not line up on the passenger side, reamed the hole, good to go.

Hey nice build. Depending on what I am doing I am just down the road from you. I am finishing up my blazer in Watsontown, hopefully starting this weekend. Currently I am living on the East side of Danville. Once I get mine running we'll have to get to togather a go for a cruise somewhere.
