Are those boss 338's or something else? Just make sure they come in the right backspacing for our trucks.

White with red is a really nice look!

Yeah, I've studied all the swaps from 73-87 crossmember swaps to ball joint/tie rod swaps. I learned that ppl are swapping the lower arm to get the more modern bushing arms. Its all kinda dizzying sometimes, trying to figure out the best way I want to get it done. I'll probably take you up on those springs and some of your other parts when the time comes.
Once this one is on the road I gotta take a short break on pourin money into it because I found a runnin 69 short bed (400/th350) for a little more than I paid for this one. I only spent a few minutes with it but its in better condition than my 67. I promised the guy I'd come and get it ASAP so I gotta get the funds together quick.

Thats right I forgot you are one of the Higher Ups on this site. I was callin it Dirty Sanchez for a while but my wife kept recoiling every time she heard me say it!! 8P I've been callin it Billy Bad Ass for a minute, if sayin Ass is within forum guidelines go for it.

Those wheels are some brand...Dcenti I think? I dunno. It doesn't have to say Foose, Edelbrock or Baer to get my attention.

Ok, Im a mechanic. Have been for years. I'll be the first to tell you I make mistakes sometimes but rarely. I started this thread because of wheel seals, problem solved. I also had a problem with the drums not fitting over the shoes. Called NAPA and got another set of shoes. Sat down to install them and DOH! I instantly saw my problem, a simple error on my part. Lets play a game. I'll post a pic and you tell me what I did wrong. Oh well, problem solved and one step closer to leaving the driveway.

Ok, I more than understand. Hhmmm, How bout Better Late Than Never? I shoulda been buildin Hot Rods along time ago. Life got me tangled up in its nasty web and at 37 I'm just now getting started. Six figure BMWs kept me pacified for so long, now its time to do what I meant to do.

You're right but they barely need attention. Pull one wheel bolt, tighten it till you can't tighten it anymore and back off two or three. The only time they really need attention is when the owner can't keep from drivin without disengaging them. The only time they are supposed to work is when the car is still so there is never any wear. These days they are the same but controlled by a computer and not a lever, figures...BMW

Not much work. If you've seen the other pics of my work I've only been able to button everything up. I've been pressing my coworker to finish sandblastin' my other wheels, he's been finishing a turbo job on a Scooby Doo and because of my DMV problems I haven't pressed it. Another coworker just returned my rear lowering blocks. He had a drill press and bits big enough to drill the desired holes. BTW, do you have any dropped spindles?
As for the '69. I talked with the owner the other day and I am still the only person allowed to buy it right now. If he gets figgity I will be sure to sound the alarm. If I feel like I'm gonna lose it you'll be the first to know. He is under no pressure to sell so I'm not really nervous. I know you'd rather drive a C10 than an Oddessy so we'll see where this goes.
I'll start a build thread when I get enough to warrant sitting down and starting it.

One thing your spring on your lower brake shoe is on wrong that long part of the spring is suppose to drag on the star wheel or your emergency brake will not work.Had to do it on my 1965 3/4 ton

Didn't look too hard but that drum is on the RF so ebrakes were not a consideration.
