18 Years Old, And 2 Builds At Once...

I'm originally from northeastern ohio but I recently relocated to west Texas. I lived her for 2 weeks before i broke down and bought another project...

1963 C-10 Shortbed. 283 with a powerglide. the steering columm look to be out of a late 60's chevy wagon, along with the steering wheel. Its a little rough but for $125.00 from a farmer out of a field, it aint too bad. had to put $75 worth of tires on it to push it home.

Now heres my daily driver since the day i turned 16. 1965 C10, longbed, 355 with a international new process 4 spd. I bought it when i was 13 and have been workin on it since. Its been through a few motor and tranny combinations over the years but it was the only one of its kind in the high school parking lot. I was young and stupid and decided to torch the coils one night so its pretty low, but rides like hell. I painted it in my backyard with a gallon of flat black from the hardware store and it looks pretty good as long as im moving and its at night.

As for the 63, im plannin on lowering it and putting in the extra 383 ive got with a stout saginaw i had built a few years back. its gonna be the weekend cruiser and the "have some fun in" truck. I'd like to paint it flat black as well and straightin up some stuff on the body. I just want it to cruise sonic on friday nights a maybe make a couple passes every once in awhile.

Now the 65 has got some bigger plans. I'd like it to become the daily driver and tow rig. But I'm going to lift it... It's only 2wd right now but ive got the front suspension off an old international laying out in the garage im considering. also i could just lift it and leave it 2wd. I'd like to be able to run some 33's. I'm leaving the color scheme just ironing out some stupid high school mistakes i made...

I'm workin in a local body shop so ive finally got access to decent tools and knowledgable people when it comes to body work. Comments, questions, and advice will all be takin to heart. Please no smack talking though, I'm open to critizism but i'm not stupid. I'm only 18 but ive grown up around rods all my life and i'm one of those people that just likes to turn heads when i pull into somewhere
