Re: 3 point shoulder belts

Tom: As you know from photos/comments I posted a while back, the front shoulder belts are awesome. Would the center seatbelt (non-shoulder) work for the rear seats? If so, how much $$ for two of them? thanks!

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

PortHeadlight, yes they would work fine for the rear seat, 2 of them would be $80 shipped, they are currently back ordered & should be available very soon.

Elliot949 I have seat belt buckle samples coming with my next order & will post pics when they get here.
Thanks,
Tom

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

It's been taking about 2 1/2 weeks to get the custom belts done.
I don't have a pic of the aircraft buckle, but they are the solid chrome ones, I'll get a pic of the next set that comes in
Thanks
Tom

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

ls1nova71 I'll & get you a measurement, are you looking for maximum extended length of a female belt for a bench seat?

StupudMunkee they are available in all the colors shown, the military green is the closest to the olive green, they take 2-4 weeks to get made once ordered.

I have plenty of sets available in black.

Thanks,
Tom

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

Tom,

Are seatbelts available with this style of buckle (in black)? I don't know what is different about these buckles. I think they are 68-72. Will they even work with 3 point?
Thanks, Dave

Smile Re: 3 point shoulder belts

Saw many requests for pictures, so here you go. Just installed a black set in 70 Suburban with bench seat. Happy in all respects. Install was easy and quick. Perfect fit. Used original bolts in floor mount. Upper mount in door frame was already there. Popped off plastic cover in door frame and shoulder mount went right in without a problem.

Spacing for retractor between door and seat was just right, leaving plenty of room for seat to slide and door to close without rubbing or touching. Pictures should show all I've decribed.

Even if not "original" I'm happy for improved safety of passenger and me... and they look good, too.

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

I'm interested in a set of white belts, for bucket seats (71 c10), but wanted to know, do these belts come with the the plastic sleeve, that the belt would click into? (The sleeve thats next to the rear of the console.) If yes, pictures please, and the length of the sleeve.

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

Here some pictures of my install. Everything went smooth. The only thing the kit didn't have that i had to buy was the bolts for the floor. You can reuse your existing. I bought new grade eights (mostly for looks). I was very happy with this kit. The GM Logo in the center of the buckle is the coolest part about this set. The only thing I would advise people is that these retractable seat belts do not have the feature to lock it full time by pulling the belt all the way out then letting it back in and having it lock to where it stops. This would only matter if you had a car seat and you needed the belt to be tight and locked full time. I do have a carseat for my son but it doesn't matter because i put him in the middle. I have a regular lap belt in the middle. https://drive.google.com/folderview?...Ws&usp=sharing
After I had them installed I wish i went a darker blue. If anyone is interested in this electric blue set please let me know and we will make a deal. They have only been used a couple times.

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

Todd, I just found your link with the seat belt pics.
The electric blue does look a little lighter than I had expected, but then again my interior isn't as dark as yours so I think they'll look good enough in my truck.

PM me a price for the set plus shipping..

Re: 3 point shoulder belts

What would be the closest to Medium blue? There's been some talk of Electric blue but on my monitor it looks teal, hard to tell. If nothing else subscribed for future purchase.
