Re: steel wheels and dog dish caps
Stock wheels which I powder coated and a set of junky 5 dollar swap meet hubcaps.
The hubcaps are real beat but for a five spot I felt like I could make them work for a while. I stripped the factory clear coat off the hubcaps which considerably helped their appearance. You can see a bit of before and after in these pics. And in case anyone notices, the caps started out with gold bow ties but when I stripped them down, they were painted blue beneath the gold from the factory. |

Re: steel wheels and dog dish caps
Here's mine. Just got wheels blasted and powder coated. Fronts are 8.25" wide with 9.5" Firestone Transforce and rears are 9.75" with 12" wide Firestone Transport tires.

Re: steel wheels and dog dish caps
Thanks Desert. They were $75 per wheel to get them done and the guy did a great gob! I was going to go with the newer HD wheels, but am very happy I decided to go this route. Love the steel wheels with hubcaps!

Re: steel wheels and dog dish caps
Any vendors make repro. center caps for a 3/4 to Chevy K20? I am running the stock 16" steel wheels and would love some caps. Is my only source used?
Thanks Doug |
