Re: $500 bucket

why spend so much on the front suspension and just do a 2 link in the back?

Re: $500 bucket

Tony-
KP is almost production ready on their new kit for the rear of these trucks. I would highly recommend checking into it. We will be working together on a complete kit for these trucks... Dropmember up front and KP out back.

Re: $500 bucket

Nathan,

Let me know if you hear anything on a release date on the 6 link. I'll definitely run that setup! And it's bolt in? Cool, Thanks for the help!

Looks good. Are you going to use those manifolds on the motor in the pic?

Re: $500 bucket

Hi there from Marysville/Yuba City area...

The last photo shows what looks like an auxillary fuel door on the bedside. Does it have them on both and more importantly does this truck have the fuel tank valve to swith over from one tank to another that you may possibly not be using any longer?????

Hmmm?????

Re: $500 bucket

Poorboy,

I dont think i'm using the manifolds, i'll probably use a shorty header.

Blackedoutharley,

The truck does have the doors on both sides which sucks for me cause I dont plan on using side tanks. But both the tanks were gone when I bought the truck. You live near Yuba city? I go grocery shopping there. Thanks guys for the compliments! Later.

Re: $500 bucket

Well I finally worked on the $500 bucket again! I've been considering trading it for a 95 or 96 ext. cab fullsize chevy, but after working on it again. I fell in love all over! I got my power rack installed yesterday and put my new chrome grill on just for some bling. With the rack in I could finally roll it half way out the garage. That things way to heavy to push up hill, so thats as far as it got! For my X-mas present from my Wife I'm getting a Kp notch and a pair of 5 lug axles from ECE! Later

Re: $500 bucket

Truck is looking sweet! I can't wait 'till mine lays out. Do you happen to know the back spacing on those 20"s? I'm looking at a set of 22" X 9"s with 5.75" of backspacing but don't know if they would work with an aftermarket crossmember.
