15X8" American Eagle #031's polished (long since discontinued) Std offset (3.75" b.s.) & 31X10.50R15 Goodyears. The wheels were a copy of the Centerline "Thruster" from the Late 90's. Stock height (or close to it). |

this is pretty much what I want to do.
if you go here http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/wheel_visualizer.asp click on the picture with the 57 chevy, a new window will pop up click enter there is a good selection of street rod wheels to look at on these trucks. |

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics
I second John.. These are my two choices for the truck I am building for my wife.. I figured whatever I came across first for a decent price I would go with although I have now passed on a few sets of rallys so it appears I am looking for the slots.. Problem where I am is unless I buy something new all the slots I see up my way are 16.5's or 14's.. Very few 15's pop up forsale. If I had both as you I would keep them both and swop them based on my mood that month Reid |

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics
My only problem is that if I decide on the slots, I`ll have step down to a 7 inch in the front for the disc brake widens the track by 3/4 inch each side which will put it into the fender.

I'm running 16"x8" Mickey Thompson Classics with P255/55/16" tires. Plenty of clearance even with disc brakes and drop spindles.

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics
I think my wheels are boring. The only real problem I think is they need to be a differnt color. I was either going to go with an off white or black. I think black without hub caps would look better.

The most awesomest rim ever for our trucks. All other rim options are from confused owners!!!
