Killin' it. My favorite part is how little you spent to get the project going. Great work. dug

Thanks ! Kind of a cool story.. my friend's dad owned the truck for a alot of years and it sat in the back at their farm. My friend took the truck home and was going to build it, but changed his mind so it sat for 6-7 years and they decided to sell it. My wife and I love those trucks so I thought I would buy it and leave the paint how it was and get it running and driving, but the more I looked at it I thought the LS swap would be a fun thing to do. I already had the motor and trans. Now its kind of snowballed into painting the whole truck, nice interior.. nice gauges.. etc etc etc. I think its well worth it though.

Sprayed raptor on some of the underwood stuff and set the cab back on the frame

Here is a rendering that @jmforddesigns did and I changed a little so it looked like my truck.

I set the fenders, I started on the wiring with help of 1/2Dozen who is a member on here. We got it running I went with some nice headers that were for a c10 but work great for my build. I love the matte white

I like the seat !
Did you make a new back cushion for the top part of the seat or just remove some springs?

The upholsterer got rid of all the springs and hand molded all the foam.

Re: 1952 Chevrolet 3100 on s10 frame with LSX- build thread

Thanks guys. Finally got it fired up! Runs awesome. I made most of the rad support, I found some steel and used my sheet metal brake to make a fan shroud. Fits good. Hopefully I left enough clearance between the fan and rad. I also made some tabs to hold the condensor on. I painted it all with black raptor bed liner, love that stuff !

Here it is after I made the shroud

After I painted it and installed the fan

Looking really cool with the matte finish, I have done a few LS installs myself. I am working on a 38 chevy now that a 5.3 is going in and I will be using one for my project "Orangepeel" This will be #4 for me and you can't beat the drivability of these motors.

That is what I'm going for. This truck should be pretty light also so I'm hoping for a truck that I cruise all day long with no over heating, cool air, comfortable to drive and still has power
