OK, finally got it to a point where it is worth taking a picture.
1982 K5 2wd Blazer ('85-87 grill)
T350
350 crate w/around 100,000 miles (was in my '85 K5 I bought as an insurance total, then in my '79 Suburban, now here!)
I bought the rims already powdercoated with newer trim rings and new centers, I was told the rims were OEM new then PC'ed and driven for a summer then stored for two years before I bought them.
255 60 15 rears, 235 60 15 fronts - when I have a few extra $ I'll put the 255's on the front and buy new 275 60 15's for the rear. Way too much space around the front tires!
Looks decent in the picture which doesn't show how bad the rust is, or how crappy the paint is. It works pretty good for a driver though.
My friend has a '89-91 core support and grill - all parts except the trim that goes around the lights. I might do the conversion in the future after I get a few other issues worked out.
Edit: I have a nicer front bumper and a near perfect air-dam I need to put on. The bumper is striaght but is pretty tarnished, the other one isn't much better, but it is much brighter.

Re: Show us what you got!!

This is my '86 Jimmy.. I sold it a couple of months ago because my motor lost oil pressure one night coming home from work and took a shat on me... I thought it would never be worth fixing but after driving a pontiac bonneville while I build my 69 pickup doesn't compare. I miss my ol' blaze so bad.. I want to find a decent one sometime in the near future like it.

-350 chevy/700r4 trans
-6'' lift on 35'' tires
-dual flowmaster super 40's
-1800 watt kenwood system.

The whole town knew me and my baby, she was a beast.

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

Recent pics...

Got rid of the TBI.. The F.I. did not agree with the cam.. and it was overly rich...like burning-eyes&nose-rich lol. Swapped in a Weiand Action + Plus intake and rebuilt the holley 650 DP i had laying around and used it. Used a Reman Hei Dist for ignition, with old Coil Postive wire to trigger it. It is ALOT stouter with this setup!

Let me know what you think plz. Here is before and after pics, i put alot of work into this...well for a daily driver lol

*dont mind the booster vac line and vac-gauge line, they are temporary and will be hid as well

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

I know these have been posted elsewhere on the forum, but why not!

That's my 87 R30 With my dad's 86 K20 SUBURBAN!

Unfortunatly the K20 took a hit last year...

I bought a door, but the damage is extensive enough that it doesn't fit...

Here's a flex shot

Not bad for a stock 35 year old 3/4 ton!

the future???

roofless!

Re: alot of nice pics!

You've got a nice truck there too! A lot of potential there! I've got two K5's a '76 and my '77 'Red Beast'. Looks like you got a 6-inch lift on it judging from the front shot. Both of mine are still works in progress. ( labor of love, you might call it ). I'm not at show quality yet, but maybe next year. My '76 is a bush beast for off road & mud though. I figure I got the best of both worlds.
