This deal had perfect timing. I just ordered all four yesterday, can't wait to get a rolling chassis put together.

Re: December Front Kit Special! $149.99

Been considering baggin my burb (suville) but concerned about ride height and handeling, If I use these can-will I have equivelent to a 3.5-5 drop and will it handle hard driving asi in performance cornering and such, I gotta 507 BBC(cad) to go in after suspension is dun I've followed and read most on here but still not convinced . I am looking for the same stance the Tim Christins burb has but it needs to handle too!

Not sure about ride height, but should go about 4" in the front and 7" in the rear till it hits bumpstops or the axle. If you do drop spindles and a c-notch in the rear you could be 8" or more but the height will also depend on the tire/wheel combo you run.

Re: December Front Kit Special! $149.99

I've got ECE 2.5 dropspindles and dont need or want to raise or lower once I obtain the 3.5-5 drop, and only considering schrader valves for filling as there would be no need to alter ride height stance. Due to funds or rather lack of I will most likely run a 15" truck ralley with as tall a tire as available

Re: December Front Kit Special! $149.99

I am looking at getting the 4-bag kit to set up on my 63. For the rear I am planning on doing a direct bag over trailing arm setup in place of the old springs. Do i need to also get the rear bag adapter plates from SD.com in order to make things work and bolt up? Also, do these kits come with all the needed grade 8 hardware?

Any info, advise and especially PICS! would be great, Thanks!

Re: December Front Kit Special! $149.99

You can bolt the bag directly to the trailing arm with a 3/8"x4" bolt and washer. On top you can bolt the rear bag directly to the frame. You will need to drill 2 holes in the frame for a bag mount and 1 larger hole for the air bag fitting to stick up through the frame. I don't believe the bags come with bolts.
Use the "search feature" in the suspension section,... there should be plenty of pics.

Re: December Front Kit Special! $149.99

I may have missed it, but do these bags have internal bumpstops like slams?
Do they baloon when inflated like firestones or no balooning like slams??

Also, because I'm not familar, any suggestions on best, economical way to bag the rear of a 65 GMC leaf spring truck? I'm on a tight budget.

This question has been past over before. I think it's a good question. What are the answers for those of us that can or can't spell correctly.Lol... I will make my purchase pending answer.

Re: December-January Front Kit Special! $149.99

Hopefully someone else will chime in, but from what I read, there are no internal bumpstops, but they do not baloon. Also, they are supposed to have a little more useable stroke (max higher and lower raise and lowering) and have a slightly more comfortable ride vs. the slams which are more sporty.

Re: December-January Front Kit Special! $149.99

I have them on the back of my truck. They do ballon, but only slightly. Bumpstops- dunno? Ride quality is very good compared to slams and they seem well made- no problems so far...
