Re: Stock mirror arms. Stock square mirror heads.

Sharpie, you wouldn't happen to have some more of the mirror arms and backing plates would you?

Yes, I just got in a fresh supply. $10 each on arms, $7 each on backing plates, and $10.95 USPS medium flat rate shipping. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Stock mirror arms. Stock square mirror heads.

Those two round mirrors, is the one on the left correct for a 67? If so do you have any more or a pic of what I do need to look for. I don't think they make repo's that look identical. Thanks, Nate

Hi Nate, I believe it is correct for 67. Jonathan bought it and I don't have any other pics. Thanks, Sharpie

Sharpie, I'll take a set of mirror arms and backing plates. If you happen to have a set that matches my truck (saddle brown?) that would be perfect, otherwise pick the two best for me to paint. I'll pm you.

Re: Stock mirror arms. Stock square mirror heads.

Dennis, do you have any rectangular heads like this in good shape? They are a little different than the ones you posted awhile back for some reason.

Re: Stock mirror arms. Stock square mirror heads.

Are those backing plates essential, for mirror mounting? Also, I wanted to thank you on the seatbelts, Sharpie! They are great and are in the process of getting redone!

Re: Stock mirror arms. Stock square mirror heads.

Glad the belts made it safely. The backing plates are required to mount this style of mirror arm. Thanks, Sharpie

Re: Stock mirror arms. Stock square mirror heads.

Dennis, thanks for the reply. I will let you know if I want a pair. If someone else jumps in that's fine, I don't have to have them. My doors have plastic (nylon?) inserts that the screws thread into. The mirrors shake a little, and I wondered if the backing plates would help to eliminate that?

Thanks,
Mark
