Thumbs up Re: The 48 chevy truck Ironworks is building.

I personally hate, hate, hate 90% of the chopped pickups. You guys have managed to put the truck back into beautiful proportions.
Job well done, nice work. Personal fan of, and amazed by metalwork as that. One of my interests trying to improve my skills each chance I get. My hat is off to you and your group.

What's the story with the rear bumper? I didn't see a finished pic on your site.

I'm thinking that bumper is gonna end up with more surgery than a housewife of Beverly Hills!

Re: The 48 chevy truck Ironworks is building.

After all the final fabrication is complete, just scoot the body with laquer and call it done.

It almost seems a crime to cover up all that excellent metalwork!

Re: The 48 chevy truck Ironworks is building.

On the first pic of the rear bumper, the one with the blue tape, has anything been done to the drivers side rear fender?
I'm not sure if it's an optical illusion but it looks as if the top of the fender is much flatter than usual.....
Is there anything you guys haven't changed??
I'm in awe........

Nothing changed like that, but it has been cut up pretty good and unlike hump ty dumpy it seems to be going back together.

This truck looks absolutely amazing!

This is only an opinion and everyone has their right to build what they want, how they want, but those bumpers are killin' me. Everything flows but those bumpers. My ONLY dislike about the truck...

Other wise you guys kick butt!

I can understand your opinion, But the guy paying the bills loves them. I struggled with the front one initially, But it has really grown on me and I like it alot now.

Re: The 48 chevy truck Ironworks is building.

Also I post up a lot of new pics on my website if you care to look.

Thanks again guys. The truck left on Friday for paint work. We are organizing parts and getting things together to put the lipstick on the pig very soon.
