Here are some more pictures. My camera is not good to say the least. There is very very slight imperfections on the chrome and the black back ground is slightly faded in places. Overall a very nice piece for being as old as it is.

I have 2 "I'll take it's" for the rear window trim and a local guy that says he is showing up with cash tomorrow for the final set. I will let you know if any of the deals fall thru. If you are still interested in the radio as a solo item, let me know and I will give you my best price shipped. Thanks

I don't mind if you make an offer. The worst that will happen is I will say no.

Well, as a seller I would like to get as much as possible, so I will start lowering the price slowly. I will start off by offering free shipping to anyone that wants to buy it. $340 to your door.

Re: NOS gauges & trim, AM FM radios, choke delete & some...

if were going to go that way and I can understand your point as a seller but it goes both ways as I want it as cheap as I can by it with in reason. So With the radio untested and the refurbish price to bring it up to snuff for a resto truck is a bit more than you are asking for the radio I am willing to go 200.00 for it although it is nice looking it will still have to be checked out and cleaned for assurance of it being in working order and good to go for service in the truck .

I understand your point, but $200 is to low for me. Your post made me realized that the unknown condition of the radios make for a hard sell, so I dropped them both off today to have them tested and serviced as needed. I will adjust the price according after condition is verified.

Re: NOS gauges & trim, AM FM radios, choke delete & some...

You will probably sell the quicker that way but it puts me out as the company that does all of my radios from my customers that I restore for wont charge me any less if they do anything to the radio as far as a refurb/resto goes and all excellent used radios still need some restoring to go in a number 1 or 2+ vehicle and the service I get on the radios I send out is a top to bottom refurb to Factory looks and operating condition right down to the detial of the stickers and other small details that bring the to that top notch level. I only offered you 200.00 based on your last post as it sounded like we were going to dicker and haggle a little I would like to buy the radio b ut at 340.00 I will have more in it + resto cost than I can recoup from this customer. You have a very nice truck radio though and some one wanting it to put in a nice cruiser or just needs one will have no problem shelling out more for it. Thanks and if it does not sell fast enough for you drop me a PM and mybe we can get together on it. Keep trucking my friend

Re: NOS gauges & trim, AM FM radios, choke delete & some...

I totally understand where you are coming from. I was planning on a little back and forth (I watch too much Pawn Stars) so I didn't mind the offer. I just realized I need to at least get them tested and working (if needed) so I can, with comfidence, tell someone the true condition. For all I know the shop could tell me it doesn't work at all, needs to be serviced and it will cost $300. In that case, your $200 dollars offer is probably right in line.

On a side note, does your restore place rechrome the face plates on the radio?

Re: NOS gauges & trim, AM FM radios, choke delete & some...

No Problem let me know what you find out. Yes the place I use does all of the chrome and they even have a few spares for the radios that have ones to far gone to fix and if someone has the big bucks the had a few NOS ones as well. They have been in business for 40+ years doing radios and gauges and other electrics for vintage cars. I have used them since 1990 with no issues what so ever on my and customers projects. They arent cheap but competitive and workmanship is top notch.
