Re: favorite 22's with pics

ok so boyd vtwins 22x8.5(5.75 bs 22x13(4"bs) or bonspeed vinspeeds same size and off set...I really want something one off that isnt popular the pricy ones seem to be coming up but i like that resto-mod look, but like super clean un busy wheels that scream 68 c10 restomod....$ is not an issue but what is the best wheel you can come up with that would complement that truck..(anniversary colors laying pinch) I love the bonnivilles and several others but seems to be something that people like to use someone elses idea.... show me what you think would be the best no money worry wheels. thanks guys.

Re: favorite 22's with pics

yeah I have the vispeeds and they are painted now, but I want another set to drive with so they dont get jacked up, and show with the vinspeeds. but if the response is vinspeed than im not going to buy another set ill just hire a wheel polisher for me..lol lots of wheel....22x13 is alot of wheel to keep like new but looking for opinions.....if anyone had my truck and money was not a concern what non popular wheel would they buy.

If coin is no issue then slap a set of HRE wheels on it and be done with it. I have a set on my car and the clean up very easily and even show very well.

You should also check out Schott wheels, they have some different designs and are not as common. I love a few of his designs. http://www.schottwheels.com/

You are right, not too many HRE's on anything old school. That's why I bought the 948R's for my C10. Since money isn't an issue, buy a set of HRE's. There aren't many guys riding on HRE's on newer cars, yet alone 40 year old trucks. Get ready to spend close to $10k for a set of 22's. I run HRE's on my 72 Chevelle also. I posted a pic of my truck wheel in your other thread, but I'll do it again here, just for reference. I'll also post a pic of my 20x13 HRE 791r's that go on my Chevelle just to show you how much of a superb wheel company HRE is. Since you are in the wheel industry, I'm sure you already know this.

My C10 wheels are brushed/cleared with a polished lip. But, before I mount them, I'm probably gonna send them back and get chrome lips like my Chevelle set.

My 791R's for my 72 Chevelle. Just got them back from HRE. They were all chrome, but had them refinished in brushed/tinted clear. 20x9 fronts, 20x13 rears.

This is the pic HRE sent me when they finished the wheel before they mounted my tires.
