Gary,
It's good to see that our trucks are right on par with each other.

I have spent a lot of time getting the truck to "GRIP" the ground and not just spin the tires. I can burn them with the best of them (TWO tracks, NOT one), but you win races by going down the road and not sitting at the line burning the tires. A 383 with 400+ horses and a posi 3.73 rear end is no joke at the line.

I WISH I could hook up. I have a 84 C20 355 you know all the good stuff 700r stage 2 shift kit. 31" tires one wheel peal. with my foot into it a bit when it shifts into second I go sideways and can spin till there is a good cloud of smoke behind me that's On dry roads. It's really scary to drive when the roads are wet. Omost better to stay home I guess I better get a chunk of 4'x4 x 2" thick plate to put into the box for winter.

UMmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... I did that in my dad's 87 burb.Let's just say that was expensive. Blew the spiders right out of the posi.(10 bolt style) Should have waited till I had my own truck I would have got a posi in my truck instead of replacing the one in dads truck. Oh welll

I can leave rubbers in the back of my truck all night long. :p

But if I want to burn rubber, I drive the Subaru, not the Silverado...
