You bet, I will send you a PM with the shipping information. Turnaround time should be 1-2 days max.

How about these parts?

Kevin,
I was disassembling a cab this past weekend and kept thinking "here's another part that needs powdercoated". Can you give me your opinion on the following parts and if it would hold up well or not? Parking brake assembly, brake pedal assembly, gas pedal assembly, door striker plate, door hinges, and door latch? How about masking off the faceplate of the ash tray and powder coating just the area behind the faceplate? Your thoughts on this would be great!

I have powdercoated all of the things you mentioned. In my opinion, these types of applications are where powdercoating is much better than paint. It's pretty much beyond argument that P/C is more durable to wear and abrasion than paint. Things like pedals and door strikers really need the added durability. To me, it's a no-brainer to choose P/C for these applications. I really believe in powdercoating, so much so that I have invested significant money into getting my operation going, and I am no stranger to painting either. But, once I saw the durability that P/C offers, I became a firm believer and vocal advocate to the process.

question - why dont they just PC the entire vehicle?

Is it that much more costly to apply then paint?

Re: More recent powdercoating pics...

I've decided to not get into the high temp powdercoating. It seems that somewhere between 90 and 95 percent of the guys using the stuff have had durability problems. I'm sticking with regular (up to 450 degree) stuff so I know it will last for the long haul.
