Here is a pic that identifoes alternators. The second from the left matches the one posted. It appears to be a 75 to 84 internal regulated model and the harness you show has been modified for the conversion.
This stuff ain't rocket science, I agree with chevloray, just modify the bracket to fit. Unless you are trying for a 1000 point concours restoration, who cares as long as it works.

The SI alternator is the one M&H likes so they make all their harness to work on it. They say it's the longest lasting and is better performing too. I had a brand new CS sitting in the box for years so that's what I'm going to use. I had them make an adaptor, apparently all the SC only need one wire. While the SI needs two.

You will like the CS and it does only require one wire unless you count the output wire to the battery.The feed wire from the large terminal. Here is a great site on them. Page two applies to your post and tells how to wire the alternator.

I’ve been looking for that info! I went to 2 different alternator shops and got 2 different answers on how to hook this up!
