Wow! You guys make me feel a lot better about my questions now. Been wondering the same thing. Somebody needs to come up with a fix that snaps in from the outside, so I don't have to take the vent window assembly out again, just to plug the hole.

I got mine from Kenny's Trucks out of Oklahoma. They were used (but originals) and once I buffed them a little bit they cleaned up nicely. As was mentioned, they do pull both skins of the doors together. It made a noticeable difference in my doors.
