Mine has stepside fenders but that is where the similarities end I guess.

I call it a fleet step side.

Thanks for the Pics, I read your thread on the build up of your Truck, You are to be commended on the Excellent job done on your Truck.................
Yesterday was quite a hectic Day for me, I Did some trading around & ended up With 2 more Trucks .

They are both in the 80's, One is 86 3/4 Crew With 454 & the other is 84 Crew Dually that is down on the Rockers. I needed the 86 to go pick up the 72 Wrecker that i Bought off Jamie & the other Was just trading. Will probably put the Dually on Evilbay.........

Thanks, Rick

Yes it is, I have owned that Car for 20 year's now. It is pretty much stock with a 283 ,3 speed manual, manual steering & brakes. Have been buying part's for a restore for it for a couple of years now.

Have 350 Tpi, 700r4, disc brakes, power steering, new floor pans, new tailgate trim, etc, etc for it now, Have spent about $10,000 in part's in preparition . Goal is to start fall of next year & have back on road Spring of 08

Thanks, Rick

Plain Vanilla - just an old reliable & simple daily driver: 350 - 350 - Ralleys - plywood in bed, ragged seat & cobbled wiring (for now).

Still get asked to sell it almost evry time I take it out.

Still a fine looking Truck in my opinion, I don't think most people would notice the difference.............

Got the cab off today & did a little cleaning on it & the new cab i scored yesterday, Probably won't get much more done until after the 1st of year.

Here are pics of the work today.....

dog

cab

frame

Going to pick up the 72 wrecker i bought of Jamie about middle of next week, I think i will throw in a 305 that i have laying around to get it running & work out the bug's . I have a good running 454 that may eventually find it's way in to it.

Here are some pics of the Wrecker.....

Here's a 71 we finished for my brother in September. It was a complete frame-off resto that took one year to complete.

smbrouss70,
Thanks for the kind words. The wheels are American Racing Torque Thrust II's series CL205, 8" in the front, and 9.5" for the rear.
The tires are Toyo Proxes ST 255/60/17 front, and 285/60/17 rear.
The drop is Early Classic 4/6 drop with spindles and springs.

Pete.

I know this is an old thread, but do you know the back spaces on these wheels. Those are the sizes of wheels i'm looking at. Thanks
