Re: Lime Wife's 67
wow, 2years/2months and 3days later...... the truck has just been sitting and driven occasionally in the time since then. But I've had some life situations going on, some good some bad. I moved and finally got to get me a shop to work in and we also got pregnant with our first child, was good till about five 1/2 months and some things developed and I lost my daughter, Danica in june 14. Even though she not here she has changed me I'm a better man now and the Lord has given me peace about it. I got really down earlier this winter and now am getting very motivated to get stuff done i realize life is short start enjoying it you idiot So now I'm so motivated to get stuff done and have been. Talked to the wife yesterday about the truck and where we want it to go. So today i took advantage of a snow day and went to the shop to work and just decided to start sanding the door it has some surface rust appearing so good place to start. Planning of taking it down to the frame when i get a lot of the body in better shape and paint it and do it right and get it finished.

Re: Lime Wife's 67
i don't know any numbers, just the size of the motor itself it looks like it was rebuilt not so long ago, i will more than likely reuse everything i can, already got heads redone, cam look good so i will reuse it (i have never bought a new cam in my life the cam in my 71 came out of my buddies 72 when he wanted a bigger cam) we will see what the crank looks like, i will have new bearings and all of course, i think all was wrong with it was the cracked head and it sat for 3 years too so i took it apart just to be safe

Re: Lime Wife's 67
hopefully drive for a while i want to take the bed off and work on that end of the frame, and also clean up the a-frames and such when i get the motor back in, i assembled the front suspenison on my truck with a bare frame and it was a pain with no weight on the frame getting the springs to compress enough to get the nuts on the ball joints
