If still interested, my Toyota rins have 5" backspacing according to my measurements.
On the rear they rub with out the spacer.
I would like to run a thicker spacer, just for looks on the rear, they still set in pretty far.
1" spacer would probably look real good, but I'm not to hip on running that on the rear.

My front end has 1975 spec a arms, disk brakes and 3" drop springs
They fit great on the front with no issues.

'68 Chevy. Summit Racing 17"x8" 6 lugs. Be warned my friends they DO NOT fit without machining.

I am 99% sure I am running 255 60R 17, I will look when I get home and change this if its wrong. The brand is Hankook Ventus AS.

Ok the back spacing on fj cruiser wheels(steelies) are 17x7.5 with a 4.5 off set.
I am putting them on my 63 suburban...I tried them on with no tires and they sit deep in there on the rear. I will try with tires and see how they look.

Yep, I had to have the center of the wheels machined to clear the hubs. I don't remember how much, but it wasn't much.
