Wow! Thank you guys for the awesome response! It definitely is a one of a kind truck.
Cherokeejohn, there is no build thread... Yet. I can talk to him about sitting down with me to make a build thread he isn't the biggest fan of sitting in front of a computer but I'll see if he is up for it!

Re: 1972 Chevy Crewcab, Longhorn, Stepside, Dually!
Very nice truck. Your father-in-law should be proud. I am building a much shorter 1 ton dually step side 68 model. Seeing this lets me think "it can look cool" when finished.
Any build pics?

Beautiful truck!! Very tastefully done. Now tell us the truth, did marrying his daughter have anything to do with that truck??

Re: 1972 Chevy Crewcab, Longhorn, Stepside, Dually!
Not usually a fan of crew cabs in general but that truck is just plain sick, I don't care who you are that is just beautiful work! Looks absolutely factory. If GM had built one I hope that's what it would have looked like. At any rate that's what it should have looked like.

He did an amazing job building that truck! I've had the idea to build one some day. I've had the pic sof this truck saved for a while to bother me.

Beautiful truck! I know where there's about a 12' Airstream slide in camper that would look awesome with that truck.
