I still have the truck and the "Buyer" insisted I keep the $2k deposit he had given me. I've already invested it back into parts from the board for "wrench-ready" projects!!

Hey, where'd you find the rare three-door model? (COOL truck, love the 4x4s and they are hard to come by). Can't wait to see the resto.

Thanks! Still a long way to go. What's the Johnny Cash song, "One piece at a time." Couldn't do much without all the help here that's for sure.

LOL! Yeah, got a pile of extra parts with the truck. If all goes well, I'll tear into the build this spring. Wish me luck....

Wow. WOW. I'm glad I stumbled onto this thread. Incredible trucks. Had a "regular" old 72 cheyenne many moons ago. Been huntin again, glad to see they are alive and well. Would love to get a super short wide someday. In the meantime, I'll live vicariously thru you all...

Re: Let See Some Factory Cheyenne Super's

Doh! I LOVE it. My favorite color combo - followed closely by dark olive/white. Or that light green misty color thingy - love that one too. Med or Light Olive, I forget. But ochre/white is my fave. Beautiful truck. And I'm sure the young lady is smiling because she's thinking she'll be driving it to high school...

The only problem with that truck is that you didn't sell it to me.

Man o man there's some nice trucks out there! Here's a pic of mine. I'm still not happy with my stance. Right now though the next project will probably be a moyor upgrade.

I really dig those 2 tone trucks!
