Re: 71 C10 6.0 LS ground up build
Thanks guys for the compliments. Today I got power brake booster installed and made brake lines from master cylinder. Also got the buddy buckets mocked up for some seat brackets. Thinking of leaning seat back a bit and lowering the brake pedal.

Re: 71 C10 6.0 LS ground up build
Got new inner fender wells from early classics due to rusted out from battery leaking acid on passenger side. Got air intake mocked up and pcm located on driver side.

Yes moved battery to driver side using an auxiliary battery tray. With Ls swap I can use the factory ls battery cables and also air intake in these engines are setup for passenger side.

Got some more done this weekend. Decided to purchase complete new bed floor and bedsides also front panel due to it being cut down from a long bed. I assembled the bed this weekend and set it on. Also made trans cooler lines and routed them.

Re: 71 C10 6.0 LS ground up build
Went ahead and bought some 20×8 20×10 torque thrust wheels and mounted some 295 40 20 in rear and 245 45 20 up front. Gave the truck a different look.

Re: 71 C10 6.0 LS ground up build
Went with nitto tires all the way around. Not many company's make 295 with same tread as a 245 tire.
