Hey CMFT, were did you get the hubcaps? I am looking for the exact same ones for mine but can only find them in 5 lug. Nice trucks! Thanks. T.J.

Re: TX '64 Under Way

You have a great looking truck to start with. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your build. It looks like the guys you have working on it know how to drop pickups down. Keep the pictures and updates coming our way.

Not in the budget now, but a few years down the road, that's the plan. We're putting an LS1 into my bro-n-laws '67 camaro right now, so taking notes to prepare.

Those caps came with the truck, so not sure of their origin. Check this link though:

Went by the shop today and snapped a few pics. Should be done next week, so stand by....

Lower bag mount on custom trailing arm setup

They're working on the front to bring it down another inch or so. Back will be raised a bit to level it out with the front

Thanks guys, wish I could take credit for the work. My skill level has a long way to go before I turn out work like this. We are getting close...

Re: TX '64 Under Way

Thanks guys. Looks like it may be done tomorrow or Wednesday. Nasty weather around here lately, so not even sure if I'll get to drive it home (might be trailering). I'll get some updated pic's ASAP.

Aired out. Truck still has the stock front cross-member and control arms, so I'm limited on how low I can go right now. I decided not to cut into my inner fenders as well until I get the Porterbuilt crossmember next year. I'm sure it could go a tad bit lower, but I'm good with it for now. The back can touch the ground, I just don't want it nose high when aired out.

Rims - 15x8 rear, 15x7 front
Tires - 255/70 rear, 225/70 front
2.5" drop spindles, cupped lower control arms

It will have some baby moons for the time being. Funny you say that about the 64 caps, as I'm looking for some as we speak. I'll likely have to do some mod's to make them fit, but that is my ultimate goal. Unless I can get Delmo to sponsor my truck and send me some Delmo specials??????

Re: TX '64 Under Way

Had a little issue with the hood, so it's off for a little bit until I can get it worked out. However, here are a few updated profile shots. Trying to decide between baby moons, nothing, or maybe some bullet push throughs...

Thought the last pic was kind of cool.
