I completed one side today. There where a few extra cuts and weld I had to make to get the new front and rear door pillars to somewhat match the rocker, and it seemed the cab corner was just a little too tall to match up to the rocker. A liitle dolly and hammer work can fix anything.

the front of the floor was bent down to match the upper floor, I only had to re-drill 2 holes for the rear seat mount, but every other one matched up.

All in all this is a very nice product, I would definetly do it again if needed.

There are so many spot weld tight against the rear wall, and across the rear of the cab that I thought it to be quicker to cut it off and to be able to work on it on the floor. I did all of the floor replacement with the cab in the upright position, so with the cart and the cab it was almost 8 feet tall.

Re: GoodMark floor, what a peice!!!!

Well pretty much got it all done, just have to flip the cab and do some welding on the bottom. I would HIGHLY recommend the floor, I just wish it would come with instructions, would have saved me a day or two.

Her are a couple shots of the upper portion of the floor I needed to replace

While I was at it I welded up a few holes in the firewall, cut in A/C ducts so i can get rid of at least one A/C setup. Also welded up some of the seams, still debating on the roof seam.

Now I have to push it to the side so I can make some mare money building cabinets.

Re: GoodMark floor, what a peice!!!!

Its nice to know that Alberta will be getting yet another classic Chevy. Pauls advertises the complete floor with braces and it also has rocker insides for 499. The picture is on their website.

When i was at Sema i asked Dynacorn if they had plans for a complete cab, not yet but will be looking at it in the future. Lots of red tape apperantly.

Re: GoodMark floor, what a piece!!!!

Matt, if you see Scott in the next little while, tell him it was a success, and try to sell them instead of the POS patch panels he has. Besides trying to find well over a 100 spot welds, it went well.

Can this be used in a Blazer as well as the pickup? Has anyone tried it and what would need to be modified?

Re: GoodMark floor, what a piece!!!!

I ordered a floor with supports last week and got a full update from Goodmark. They told me that they have only received a couple of the floors with supports to test fit. The GA warehouse does not expect them until July 7th. CA may get some sooner but the cost to transport to me would be alot higher. So I can only wait I guess.
