Re: Full Resto?
I have figured my truck full frame off resto is going to cost me in the neighborhood of 12,000.00 to 15,000.00. This is every last nut bolt and screw replaced. I am going to do the work myself. I am not including the tools I have been buying every week to get the job done.

I bought my 68 in "Mid-build" from a guy that already had some serious investment in custom work. From that point, I am changing many things and the work is still in my garage. I have invested about $6,000.00 in just parts and have not bolted a thing onto the truck as of yet. My idea is to be outside the conventional and still have a driveable truck. The truck has had the cab chopped 3" and the cab, fenders, and bed smoothed. The interior has had the dash changed somewhat, but it still retains the look of that era. I purchased it this way and it is not growing into a completed project fast, but I am working on it. |
