Re: Starting on the Right Foot
Just remember that being a C30 or C40 it will have at least 4:56 gearing which is not happy on today's roads. You will want to upgrade the rear differential to a later model axle assembly to cope with anything over 45 mph

Re: Starting on the Right Foot
I'm not in love with this one, but at $800 it seems like a good deal still. I really have a craving for a 1960-1962 chevy apache. Usually they seeem to be in the double digits even in rough shape.
https://www.bigiron.com/Lots/1962ChevroletC-30Truck Drained the old gas out, tinkered with the hand choke, put a battery in it and been driving it around the place for $390 Heres more: https://www.bigiron.com/Lots/1961Che...ng60GrainTruck https://www.bigiron.com/Lots/1962ChevroletC60GrainTruck https://www.bigiron.com/Lots/1961Che...kingGrainTruck Lots of these old trucks around. Plus you will probably nearly double your money to get somebody to haul it for you. Transporters nail you for hauling non ops. |
