Thumbs up Re: New to forum, few pics of my 87.

Very niice truck
I'm looking for the same Bed Rails for my 1984 Silverado K20 Long Bed.
They are made by PerryCraft and they don't produce them anymore.
Where can I find a new one for my truck?
I need the 90" not the 60"

Thanks

SEM's paint options seem to be sort of generic with regards to color. Try OER or Late Model Restoration Supply for the precise color match. They sell a line of vinyl paints and dyes that are supposed to be a match to the colors available to your model year. The color you're after should in fact be called "Dark Blue". I would also recommend painting all plastics and vinyls in the truck to match whatever you paint the dash, so that it will look as nice as it did when it was new. You may need to call them just to make sure you're getting the color you're after.

Re: New to forum, few pics of my 87.

Did you ever find a SEm color that matched the original interior colors? I'm looking into doing the interior in my rig and I have a dark blue interior as well.

Re: New to forum, few pics of my 87.

Great lookin' truck! Always liked that color combo....

As for the interior paint, my 85 has the dark blue interior as well and when I replaced a few of the interior pieces I used SEM 15043 "shadow blue". Actually ended up getting a couple different colors and this one seemed to match the best. Dang near perfect actually! I recommend getting their plastic and vinyl prep/cleaner as well to use prior to painting...

Beautiful truck, who cares if the paint is wearing a bit thin here and there. A truck that carries itīs years like that one is a gem in my eyes. Welcome to the board!

wow just noticed this thread was brought back to life. To the above post no I have not found a correct SEM color for the dash because it's still in the box! I've been lazy about that I need to get on that little project!
