Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
AWESOME TRUCKS GUYS! I apologize for not including K1500’s in the title! They are every bit as welcome. Everyone of these trucks posted are amazing. Let’s see some more! Tristan, keep looking you’ll find one. Took me 2 years to finally get mine.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
Hi CHEVYLAND, This truck was my Fathers work truck (Electrical work) He bought it new and had the bed changed at the local CHEVY dealer. We used it to carry a small trench digger. He gave it to me when he retired. Low miles 4 speed 307 low gears P/S. Wish I had the original bed. I enjoy Your CHEVYLAND posts and look forward to more. Happy Trails

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
I was waiting for that one to show up. Kevin got that one about a week before I bought my K20 from him. That’s a real special truck.

I have two 1972 SWBs. The green one has factory air and both have the 4 speed in them.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
I am in Spring Creek Nevada. Its just outside of Elko. The green one was my first vehicle ever. I think it is why I have such a love for these trucks. I recently bought the white one. It was one of those to good of a deal to pass up type of things.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
Pulled this one from the board some time ago...that original post had pulled this pic from a CA craigslist ad. '69 Custom Deluxe. I just wonder if those wheels are OE-they look suspiciously original.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
Here’s our shortbed. She’s a great little runner, a completely stock Cheyenne and never been messed with, a/c, wiring, transfer case, axles, all original. Except for the obvious fuel injected ls2 6.0 and 700r4.
Drives nice and straight at 70 mph. Just a fun truck and the kids love it! Even though many have told me to clear in the patina, she’s going in for paint in the next month or so. Going to keep the original tangier orange with all the original style trim. Last edited by K5er4Life; 09-18-2019 at 10:19 PM. |

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
Do conversions count? K20 frame was too rotten to be saved, so it became a SWB k10...Kinda.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
Here are some pictures that I have collected over the years from Craigslist fails. No joy so far, but still looking and still hopeful. Theses are all optioned up trucks with AC and AT to heighten their rarity. The one with the service bed also has factory buckets and the GMC was a Highlander. Four of the 5 were in CA, the capitol of SWB K10s.

Re: Let’s see some SWB K10’S!
There’s some awesome trucks here! I finally loaded my truck up and brought it home today. It’s been sitting at a buddies place for a year or so now. I was focused on my K20 all this time, but finally decided it was time to bring it home.
Let’s see some more of yours!

No longer mine, but I enjoyed my time with it. It’s in Tennessee now.
