Super duck we used to haul for Massey sand and rock. They sold out to Granite Construction. We also hauled for a company out of Salton City. Aggregate Products. Most of there stuff went to El Centro area. Yeah your right, the Salton Sea is really bad. I remember back in the 60's the Corvina that come out of there would weugh about 20 lbs. Now it's so poluted it stinks. Such a waste. If you fly over it you can see the pollution flowing in on the south end. I like to tell people back here about the dinosaurs up in Cabazon. They don't believe me. LOL johnj

Duarte/Irwindale
Ive got two trucks 67 C20 long bed fleetside and a 68 C20 long bed stepside Im currently completely taking apart the 68 so that I can shorten the frame and convert it to a 5 lug then im going to order a slew of Porterbuilt products. I have most of the parts off the 68 that will be for sale...hood/grill in great shape..fenders not so good..some good parts others kinda blah |

OOPS ~
The single most important thing in sound deadening is to use only closed cell materiel ! open cell holds moisture like a sponge . Sorry for that gaffe , I was stuffed to the gills with Holiday Foods last night . I too would like to continue the So. Cal. Meet & Greets , the diverse collection of people and trucks is always interesting .

Re: SoCal checkin' in
Ha ha. I would like to know about more meets in So Cal. too. I just don't feel up to driving the truck too far away until I get the fuel and speedometer all squared away. Which reminds me. I wonder if I should just get a new or replacement gauge cluster anyways. My odometer doesn't even turn over with the miles. Yep, a true fixer-upper. Ha ha.
