Thats a nice truck to start with. I have a complete 5 lug setup if you are interested front and back with disc / drum drop spindles and air bags and plates. Also have 72 tilt steering column. Good luck with your new project.

The truck is coming along nicely making me jealous wish I could work that fast. If Hollywood passes on the column I would like to maybe buy pending pictures.

Did a little shopping today and bought a few parts. Tomorrow I will paint the motor and the tranny will be finished by weeks end. Hopefully I can install them next week.

Just received a pair of 5 lug axles I won on ebay. The setup I have now is a 6 lug with 3.73 gears. While I'm changing out the axles I'll replace the studs with new ones.
