Any more progress pic? Can't wait to see more on this console project. Had a quick question and thought you would know. I started my speaker pods for the doors, and I see a lot of people leave the grill cover off their mid-range speakers. Why do they do this? I assume this is done for for improved sound quality?

I understand crazy busy with life. I have three kids 5 and under. I don't see how I do anything to my truck. I will have to think about what I want to do with my grill covers.

Yes, we need more updates....LOL. I need more "ideas" to copy for mine. I am going to buy a sheet of MDF and start soon. I started making a 6 1/2 grill cover from 304 stainless. I will get some pictures soon to share ideas.
