tdkosta Engine is good, hear it run $500.
Is supposed to be low mile, actually previous owner said it was new crate engine, put in there & then they didn't drive it again, but it has sat for quite a few years.

Re: Parting out a 69 gmc 2wd

I have a few pair of chrome vent windows, the rubber is usually cooked though the chrome will be pretty nice & I have the vent window rubber rebuild kits too. $145 shipped per pair including the rubber rebuilds made by precision.

tdkoska Sure, will deliver

Re: Parting out a 69 gmc 2wd

I am very interested in the A/C system (I want to say Ill take it, but need to clarify a few things first)

Is this system factory style (V-pulley/under the hood pieces ect)
Also when you say complete are we talking the hoses, compressor, dryer, condenser, blower motor, and vents/hoses?

pending this info I would like to work out a deal.

Basically I have a factory A/C cab I need to put A/C in...

Re: Parting out a 69 gmc 2wd

ZOOKEENEY, will get u some pics.

BBrendal sorry about that, too much stuff going on this weekend, PM in the mail.

Bignbad, no problem!

Oddfire, forward harness actually pretty decent, there is one spot on the red heavy wire that has some coating stripped away, otherwise the rest is all good
$55 shipped

boynton, ac system would include everything including AC compressor & brackets, all of it looks good except the diverter box flap is cracked.
Shipping I would guess would run $70-$90 lot of heavy & bulky parts.

Engine sold to tdkosta

Re: Parting out a 69 gmc 2wd

Ted, Did you pull the distributor out when you installed the engine? If not timing couldn't be too far off.
Firing order is 18436572 going clockwise with the # 1 plug wire position on the cap at about 5 o'clock looking at the distributor from the front of the engine, vacuum advance position is at about 8 o'clock.
Give me a call if it doesn't work out.
Tom

Rear view was gone already.
