the backup/ safety switch may not be any good or the switch isn't getting any power or may not be even be hook up or might have a bad ground or bulb and the taillight housing

Re: if its not one thing its the other

because you added lights that require a totally different electrical draw to them... you have to take into consideration also.. are they case grounded? or are they grounded through a wire? these are things you cant guess at..
that's why soooooo sooo sooo many of us complain about PO's "hacking" apart out interior electrical..
dude.. i DO avionics on the most complicated helicopter known to man.. period... i work on 31 miles of WHITE wire..
ad when i opened my hood for this project.. i was f-ing pissed...
because it took me hours freaking hours to repair all the wires i never paid attention to that were destroyed by people guessing..

and on a lighter note.. those same wires last year when i got the truck running.. set it on FIRE twice..... please take a few seconds to look at the basic diagrams before you start hacking away..

if you cant figure it out.. post a "what the hell" in the electrical section and we will help you..
or PM me the manufacture data and i'll find you the diagrams and provide for you the resources you need to do it right..

good luck..
im not mad or trying to be a dick.. but dude.. ya gotta make some changes before you waste a perfectly good truck..

oh i know what color the wire is i checked the diagram and all that im like 90% shure its just the ground...cuz them lights where hard to get a good ground when i first hooked em up too
