LS swap

So im toying around with the idea of swapping in a LS2 motor into my 70 SWB but im quite a novis, My question is has anyone here done one of these and if so what is involved, Im aware that the motor mounts and prolly the trans mounts have to be moved or changed, another question is should i go with the 4l60 or can i use the 700r4 that is waiting to be installed... is there any mods the need to be done to the trans tunnel or firewall? any help would be greatly appriciated!
