Re: 64 c10 build
Thanks Rickoner after checking out your thread and how good your floors looked, today as soon as I got home me and "white knuckle garage" started tearing into mine. We got the rockers off both sides. I've have all the patch panels for a few weeks I've just been dreading doing it.. I've kept myself busy doing other things on my truck..

Re: 64 c10 build
We put the bed on this morning! Just a test fit to check wheel spacing and ride height.. The cab that's on my truck we just put on for the LS motor placement and to get it off my extra frame.. I'm using the extra frame under my cab while we do the patchs on the floor.

Re: 64 c10 build
Started cleaning up the firewall. Waiting on the door pillar patchs to come in befor we go any further on the floor. While removing some of the loose paint we discovered some of the original markings 2 tone and beige!

Static for now bags later. 4.5 in the front and 7 in the rear..We'll see how it works. I hoped it would be lower.

What is the color on your wheels? Looks like an off white.

Good luck! Been there done that! I'm onto the rockers now. Have to redo the bottom of the doors and acquire fenders before I can do anymore.

Re: 64 c10 build
Is it going to be bagged or static? If static, how much drop will you be running?

The wheel paint is single stage PPG fawn 22425. I bought the wheels at a Chevy dealership.

Re: 64 c10 build
We got the floor cleaned up and removed the gas tank brackets without damaging the original paint on the back of the cab. Also got all the holes on the firewall welded up that won't be used on the 5.3 swap and filled the gas filler hole. Still need to patch the floor

Re: 64 c10 build
I’m not going to cover mine, I’m going to use the original side trim pieces as the radiator brackets.. little mod... I didn’t buy the controller.. Yet. more $$$. I haven’t decided. Did you get the programmable harness? How do you like it?

Re: 64 c10 build
I have not got the truck running yet but, My buddy Jim has used a couple of the harnesses and he likes them a lot. The whole entropy "package" is very nice and fits like a glove. I dig it!
