And more,my body guy will take the doors, hatch and other goodies off himself, also he will install the tall floor hump in place of the low hump, should clear a 4l60e according to you wise men.The tall floor hump came with the burb back when i purchased it.

Re: 66 suburban aka the sub
The burb came with factory air including the center vent, include drier condensor, but i have no ideal why the fire wall was cut up in such a way, maybe this was a factory unit that was dealer installed I dont really know, looks like my body guy has to cover those to.

pics of frame on the ground and fuel lines ran, went with a 2006 single feed factory fuel line into single fuel rail fitting. Also went with corvette regulator with a ford fuel filter piggy backed at the outlet, and then plastic line from tank

Re: 66 suburban aka the sub
The burb really isnt bad when the old bondo is removed and dents are removed the correct way, couple before and after shots, rockers are solid one small rust spot at the bottom of door, had to cut it out

Re: 66 suburban aka the sub
Great looking burb, Can I get a little information on the rear tranny mount, Did you build it your self? And how do you plan to run the exhaust?

Re: 66 suburban aka the sub
thanks crx150zc the cross member is a classic performance unit I will measure the bend, you set the ends and you can weld them down or bolt them, then the two ends can be bolted to the frame, mine are bolted to the frame I will post a pick of some close up shots,my plan for the exhaust will run under the trans cross member and back, then I will run them up behind the rear cross member into some mufflers and dump in front of the rear end.but im looking for suggestions

Re: 66 suburban aka the sub
Thanks Rock Tonka your Burb is so cool love what you and your son have been doing on your rig,I got my 69 c10 back from paint may 2011,took him a while witch it usually does,But I swear I started trying to get the painter lined up on the burb back in march when I bought it and he was busy so I waited because he said August, then Sept, then October 6 was the date, now he is really moving at a nice speed, and sending me a lot of picks,so ill post more as they come in,I actually bought some fenders and a grill surround to deliver to him.bought them at tuckers trucks in Henderson nv.

Re: 66 suburban aka the sub
Thanks gostranger painter usually goes slower,he usually hates some of of my projects IMPALAS, and tells me no more trucks, but I think he likes this one or hates it LOL.Said he was gonna strip the roof and start sealing,he has been stripping the inside,I told him I wanted all the holes in the fire wall welded up and the high up put in.
