EVERYONE ON HERE IS JEALOUS OF HIM????? I think not... I am prouder of my truck because I built it my my own two hands... Anyone on this forum with the right amount of money could own a truck of that caliber or nicer depending on who they want to pay to build it I am not knocking this truck... I have seen it in person and it is AWESOME.... To me to post an auction with so many misspelled words on a truck of this quality is like going to the most expensive resturant in town and ordering the best steak on the menu but when it comes out it is on a paper plate and they give you a plastic fork and knife to eat it with.... The steaks still the best but the delivery takes something away from it....

My boss (with a BA) doesn't spell very well, but he knows how to make money while satisfying the customer in a technically sophisticated industry. I (with a GED) possess excellent spelling skills. Guess which one of us can afford the truck.

It is a very nice truck. If I could afford to have someone build a truck like that I would do it also.

Re: Nasty 70 c-10 Full custom on ebay...linky

I wasn't slamming the truck in any way, its a sweet truck and I would love to have it. But if it didn't even reach the reserve at over 50K the first time around, it is unlikely it will reach that level the second time around, and even less likely that it will sell. Also, the sellers mispelled words and rambling description does take some edge out of the presentation of the truck. While you can compare it to prices from Barrett Jackson, you must remember what has been said on here so many times before. Just because you put X amount of money into a truck, it doesn't make the truck WORTH X amount of money or more when trying to resell.

I like catchup on my steak...no matter how expensive the steak is mmmmmmm good.

While I like the eBay truck I would rather have yours. Its way more my style. Plus think of all the things I could do with that extra money.

Hopefully Heinz ketchup... You can smell it cooking when you drive past the factory!! I have learned alot on this forum... The biggest thing I have learned is if I ever go to sell my truck and I want to put it on ebay I am not logging on here until way after the auction is over... By that time the thread should have died off... Poor ebay trucks take one hell of a beating on here!!

It might have something to do w/the fact that the ad description is 'over the top'. The best this.... the best that.... Stuff like that seems to bring out the magnifying glass of scrutiny from the masses. List the truck & it's features w/o all the bravado & there would most likely be a different reaction.

C10addict.... I like your's too. Well except for . . ...... .

Re: Nasty 70 c-10 Full custom on ebay...linky

I saw it at Goodguys. I think it would bring $75K easy at Barrett-Jackson, but that's Barrett-Jackson.

The fact that it got bid up to $50K on ebay, probably without anyone actually coming to look at it, means it should probably bring more with a serious buyer that has looked it over and drove it.

I wasn't bashing if thats what you think. There are a whole lot of cars and trucks Id love to have in my garage. Just because someone else owns a vehicle I really like sure doesn't make me jealous...or envious etc etc. Id be crazier than I already am if I lived my life that way....Now pass the catchup

Can't spell, add, subtract, divide or mutiply.... Sure couldn't afford much less build one like that. When at a show and see em' like this I glance and go these high dollar rides just don't interest me. A recent feature in a truck mag started out after The ..... bought their truck for $4500 and then took to So and So's Shop for a frame-off, crate,air-ride and on and on glanced and turned the page. Now give one where they searched and swapped for this, blocked sanded 3 times, took the small block and built it etc. Thats a good read or worth the time to talk and compliment 'em.

Really awesome truck, but the description and the answers to the questions really detract from the entire thing. I like the electric back window though...

The current bid jumped from $26k to $45k, reserve still not met. But with a Buy It Now of $83 500, I have a feeling it still may have a ways to go yet before it hits the reserve.
