Re: SD control arms released
It would be really cool to have a super special price in that 30 day intro, if you buy the crossmember & the A-arms

Re: SD control arms released
Who exactly is the sd front suspension for ? Just 67-72 or is it being made for us 73-87 people ? I keep asking but all my questions in here have gone unanswered. I have a two wheel drive 80' blazer that is needing some type of extreme drop and i'm just trying to get answers.

Re: SD control arms released
If you bolted an 85 crossmember in, the Dropmember will work too. The 60-62's I believe had different frame width dimensions because of the torsion bar suspension.

Re: SD control arms released
Mello Mel,... Shoot Thorbecke Bros. (or anyone else on here) a PM if you need a specific question answered. I don't know how many PM's I have sent Porterbuilt,... and other members,... and they always get's right back with me. I feel like that is the quickest source of info.

Re: SD control arms released
still curious on how it drives/steers/handles. i think the price sounds good but not about to spend cash on a kit with no feedback on how it drives.

Re: SD control arms released
finally heard back from jason. it seems they haven't even tested it yet on the road. dont know how i feel about that. i know its a knock off of porters stuff, but i would have thought that proper testing would have been done before it was officially released.

Re: SD control arms released
I did some searching and didn't see any info on the control arms yet. What are the specs on the uppers? Longer than factory? Different caster settings than originals?

Re: SD control arms released
They are ready to take orders guys. they called me today. $700.. 30 day introductory price. Call them for more details. I'm sure they'll be here today sometime with a full run down.. Killer Deal. Its a kit that comes with a transmission crossmember and the other stuff you need...Will work with your stock control arms.. They also said these will fit earlier years as well like my 63.
