BB for Big Block one of my friends thinks I'm nuts because every vehicle I've owned has had a nick name.

"Ole farm truck"
"the 70"
"daddy's old truck"

As was said on an early post of this, I think the term "Lawn Ornament" might be more appropriate

it started as just My Truck, then over the years of repairs and decay, became the Broke Truck. This was from my son who at 7 years old has only seen it driven the last couple. So now I've convinced him to call it either Dads Truck or The Old Truck.

"Snort" after a backhoe in some childrens book where a bird is looking for its mother. It seemed to fit after it snorted back to life after a 20 year sleep, and again after the wreck.

My truck looks pretty rough on the outside right now, with faded green paint and rust, so my uncle started calling it the "green latrine". It kind of stuck, although it's mostly primered now.

My white Cadillac is the "porcelain piece", since apparently in my uncle's time, you would insult someone's car by calling it a toilet.

"Oh look at Mike driving up the street in that toilet!"

My wif has tried to call it PUDDLE JUMPER. I don't like that name and it didn't stick. Everyone in the family calls it THE ORANGE TRUCK

it is simple, and it fits.

I hate it when people who know absolutly nothing about vehicles in general call it a pumpkin. Thats when I come back with, "I know you do" (get it?) It usually takes a few seconds but they get the hint.

Some guys at that my dad works with named his the Orange Rocket. Not really because it's fast, but because he drives it like it is. Mine is called the beutiful disaster because it looks nice from a distance and I'm always working on the F'n thing.
