Re: Bonneville pics

Sweet pics! I see Jimmy Shine's car there. I just watched worlds fastest indian last week. Cool deal that you got to go & even cooler that you drove your truck there! Thanks for sharing...

Re: Bonneville pics

Great pictures, that had to be awesome seeing everything.

Curious though, what are the specs on your tires? I've been looking into doing a 4/6 drop on my truck and I'd definitely be keeping my rally wheels as you did.

Re: Bonneville pics

Thanks for the kind words on my beater, the salt makes everything look better. We couldn't see doing the trip in a new rig, but if we had to, we would have. Luckily it didn't come to that.
bad68, the tires are 245/60's and 275/60's.

SCOTI, you just need to make the command decision to go. Tell your buddy that Speedweek '09 is a go. If I can do next year also I'll caravan out there with you.

Sounds do-able & we're not getting any younger. Bonneville 09!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
