What paint code and color combo is that? I like it a lot - just wondering if that is a GMC specific color or what....

Clean truck. I just had a few questions. Was it a problem to fit the 72 door panels on it and what do you think of using the A6 compressor. Thanks

Sorry for the delay in responding but I have no computer access at home.
The color is a factory GM color...from 1955 (one year only), Seamist Green. I believe the paint code number back then was 586, you might want to double check that though. I went with single stage, not much of a clear coat fan on non-exotic colors.

First welcome to the forum.
The 72 door panels are not a problem, just need 72 regulators due to the longer stems. I posted the process on here a long while back, I'll see if I can find you a link when I get a break here at work.
I went with the stock style compressor to keep the stock look under the hood, it does leak a very small bit of oil from the front seal when it's on like they all did but it cools the cab exellently.
