PPG crosses to 917976, 2009-11 Corvette. I see the code on the original post now sorry .. Beautiful color. Was it tough to spray (is it a pearl or larger metallic?)

It wasn't too bad at all. Its a pearl but covered pretty well for a bright color. I was pretty pleased with it.

Re: Mine and Grandpas c10
I prefer the 67-68 and the 69 grille and fenders were pretty shot. He had the 68 clip on another truck on his land that was pretty trashed so when I got the truck we pulled it too. Had to replace the ps fender but other than that and new inner fenders its all chevy.

Re: Mine and Grandpas c10
well after a 2 month vacation shes home! I had to put her at my bosses house so I could do the bodywork on his 72 vette. I'm glad that's done, I enjoy fiberglass work but hate the mess it makes. Heres a couple of pics of the vette

Re: Mine and Grandpas c10
Nice work on the door panels. Can you elaborate on what you did to make these? Did you upholster them yourself too? |

Re: Mine and Grandpas c10
Thanks, their actually super simple. I took two pieces of "finishing plywood" from home depot. Not sure if that's what its called but its like 1/8" thick. I bought them in 4x4 sheets. I cut the first to the size of the full door panel then the second to the shape I wanted on the bottom, a little gorilla glue later and they were ready to be upholstered. I didn't do any of the upholstery it was done at a local shop. Used 3 sheets total.
