I've been after this blazer for years. Guy i'm getting it from has had it since late 80's. He got it from original owner that used it in california at a ranch. It sat in salty air forever and rusted from the outside in. The frame and drivetrain are rust free and solid and unmolested. It has 56k original miles. Really loaded up blazer. Shame on the rust. Hood is only useable body panel on it. I will be getting a rust free tub, fenders, and doors with the purchase price. Hood is good and i have an NOS tailgate. Plans are to getting it running good, re-do the interior, and drive it and enjoy it rust and all. I will start bodywork on other sheetmetal, and as my 6 year old sons nears driving i will start the restoration. I want the inside to be nice to jump into and cruise, but not worry about rest, but you know how that goes. Regardless, i think it's cool, sportbird package and all.
