Just a gas tank for now. Here is a pic of what was behind my seat on my last truck.

Re: What's behind your seat?

Just a big old gas tank & 2 boards used to keep my MIG wire from hitting the gas tank while welding in the cab corner. That'd leave a mark!

Re: What's behind your seat?

Tank under the bed... so I have a couple of cheap sony speakers back there now, unfortunately, my seat doesn't flip forward, so I can't really store stuff back there.

I know that fixing the gasket would have helped, bla bla bla, but I LOVE not having the "gas smell" anywhere near my cab

I don't have a stereo yet just a custom backboard and some carpet so far. Hope to mount some 6x9s in the back corners.

Re: What's behind your seat?

A gas tank! Under the seat there's some tarp straps, a big pipe wrench and crescent wrench for changing trailer hitch balls, tow rope, lug wrench, set of 20ft HD jumper cables, and some shop rags.

Re: What's behind your seat?

Well the 35gal SS tank is in the rear of teh frame and I just mounted a set of buckets last week so right now nothing. But plans are to flip teh cab on its back (tip & flip dolly) and built a nice custom glass enclosure for some added sound and have a center consul that blends into it. The box will bolt into the tank mounts and I have not yet decided if I will paint it or ?

Re: What's behind your seat?

I just looked and I found an old safe...I wonder what is in it.

Any way to crack these things, I talked to a locksmith and he wanted $250 to open it....I dont want it open that much.

I keep thinking maybe it's full of gold coins or something, but with my luck probably the only thing in it is the combo.

Re: What's behind your seat?

nothing, there is no tank, there is no seat, only thing still in the cab is the dash, you give me enough time with the sawzall and it would probably be gone to, hopefully when all is said and done their will be a tank back there again
