today i took all the front suspension apart and started working on the control arms i shaved off the steering stops and the bump stops so i can start getting the LCA's ready for the bags and i also put a coat of paint to make them look a little better here are some pics.....

My 3 inch drop spindels and the four link arrived today and i put a coat of paint on the spindels to match the rest of the suspension.....

tomorrow im gonna work on installing the new bushings and ball joints so that way i can start putting the front suspension back together that way i can bolt my bags in place.

today i got all the front suspension back together and i also noticed that my frame was cracked right where the power steering goes so i went ahead and welded from the inside and braced it from the inside also and welded all around. and i got the bags bolted in place here are some pics.....

At that time i realized that it was time to start triming from the inside of the fender and also had to removed the heater core and the last thing that was holding me up was my long tube headers

so i removed the heater core and my long tube headers and i was able to compress the bags a lot more and i was able to reach a much lower stance....

since i got 2 weeks of vacations i been working on the truck a lot and a whole week is gone allready im hoping to be able to a least get started baggin the rear before i get back to work lol .......tomorrow i plan on getting all the little things left on the front and maybe in the next couple days take the bed off that way i can get started with the rear!....thats if the wife dont mind me not spending my vac with her lol......

Update......i got up early this morning and fabricated a couple metal covers for the holes where the heater core was, i decided not to run a heater since it never worked so i found some scrap metal on my back yard and this what i made.......

the ac compressor was missing when i bought the truck and the heater never worked so im not gonna be running neither here in SOCAL gets a little warm but not that much and it doesnt get that cold either so in the winter a warm jacket will do it and in summer im rolling the windows down lol.....

Man......it looks BAD ASS! but they make a reinforcement plate you weld in over where your frame has cracked.I recommend you get one for your frame where it has busted for insurance. But I am sure your way will be fine.

Thanks man i welded a plate from the inside and its some thick plate 1/4 of an inch thick and i welded the outside too so it should hold, good looking out tho.......
