Any pics of how you routed the blazer tank filler hose, and how your venting works? Also, where did you get the filler?

Good looking ride. That puts my daily driver to shame! Nice pics from High River in the last few. Too bad about the rain, last year seemed to have double the turn-out.

Used a "Hotrod" heater. Less than $100 and pretty easy to do...........It would be REALLY easy for someone with your talents.
To get a "Looks great" coment from someone whose work I much admire makes it all worth while. Thanks.

Re: Pics of my 67 "beater"

Awesome truck! I have a TPI unit that I am going to put on my '69 C-10. It is the '85-'87 style that will bolts to my conventional (non-centerbolt) SNC heads. What fuel pump are you using? I noticed it was insulated. Is it pretty quiet? Also, are you using the speed density set-up? That what I'm planning since I'm leaving the engine basically stock.

I am running a 255 Walbro inline with a pre-filter and a 87 IROC fuel filter after the pump. Bought it at a speed shop. The insulation comes with the pump and even though it is mounted at the back of the frame you can still here it but only when the truck is not running.
I'm running Mass-Air because the TPI I have is off a 89 IROC. SD is good too, you can just run a filter right off the throttle body if you wish.

MAKE SURE YOU USE A TPI FRIENDLY CAM!!! And make sure the computer has a FULL 12VOLTS. Use a meter and not just a test light like someone I know..................

Ok, If yours is a beater, whats mine called?
Its a '68 Shortwide, will be a 350/TH350. I'm about to throw in a 3.07 5-lug rearend, hopefully will find a 3.73 posi somewhere cheap, painting it white as you can see from interior already being painted. Adding 2-1/2" drop spindles with 235/75-15's up front with 5" ECE coils with 255/70-15's in rear. Have a Goodmark cowl hood (Thanks Glock35ipsc) and relocating fuel tank to rear (Tanks, Inc) removing all trim and emblems including grille emblem and hood letters. Other that those mods, mostly stock body. Will probably run a radio delete plate with stereo in glove box.
Only things I'm currently needing for it are usable interior pieces such as black bench seat and dash pad, I have everything else to put it together. Hopefully be on the road by late winter or early summer 2008...

*In pic below it's sitting on the bump stops ,stock suspension with no springs in it at all*

Re: Pics of my 67 "beater"

This beater, (ha yea right) is a sweet LiL ride in sheeps clothing! Once you spray the black and those wheels really start to pop look out. I for one can hardly wait to see the up and coming pic's.

esll.
