stock 67-68 wheels are the best in my opinion, but I also really like the wood one a rubber 3 spoke in LMC. It is similar to fastwillie's.

I have a Le Carra on my truck and really like the way the wheel feels in my hands and also that it goes with the black, white and chrome in the truck. The wheel in the first pic was on the truck when I bought and the second is one of the 88/98 wheels which I really like but the Le Carra is first class. My Le Carra was under the tree one Christmas morning and the boys at Summit Racing really helped Mama Clause getting the right one to fit the truck.

...oh yeah..now that also is a nize'un..what size is it..I'm thinking I've only seen the largest offered is 14"..is that correct??

My wheel is 14.25 inches outside diameter which to me is a perfect size for inside our trucks. Although I don't mind the look of the Cheyenne wheel, they and the regular plastic/bakelite ones feel as big as a Greyhound bus steering wheel as I think they must be about 17 inches wide. if you have no power steering then the big wheel is what you need but you don't one that big with power steering.

Already Gone is runnin the same wheel as me. I love my Lecarra, very comfortable and looks great. Mine is the polished aluminum though, not the chrome. Took this pic awhile ago so my interior wasn't quite finished yet...

If you want to give me that vette wheel I will gladly take it off your hands haha. I don't have anything against the stock wheels but I think the vette one looks better as well as some other aftermarket ones. Also after I raised my seat a tiny bit for a tad more leg room it's a tight fit between the stock wheel and my legs.

To: Already Gone...I also agree on the OEM steering wheels..they do look great but I personally dont like the size..great if you don't have power steering.
I really like the Lecarra design..It's the wheel I would choose but they only offer 14"..I had a chance to compare the 13-1/2"that I first bought with a 14" similar to this Lecarra and could not tell the difference in size..

I agree, nothing better than stock. An aftermarket, while nice, tends to detract from the classy look for me.

The square body steering wheel looks at home in our trucks too.

The four spoke wheel was commonly referred to as the Vega GT wheel. I have one out of my old 71 Vega GT, another from my 71 Chevelle SS and found a grey one in a late 70's Chevette.

The black ones tend to sweat adhesive like liquid but the colored ones I have owned don't do the same thing.

That SS center emblem is rare and I have not seen it reproduced. Bowties are the most common but I have one that says Chevette that is really valuable.
